Mass media has a tremendous impact on all of our lives. Taking this class demonstrates that you have an interest in exploring how media can manipulate your feelings and responses with regard to attitudes and consumption habits. All types of media are discussed and examined throughout the semester. Assignments include 'Journal Articles' where each student does outside research on a specific media or event. The course covers all media with an emphasis on print, radio, TV, and the Internet.
